Synopsis:
A single woman in her mid-thirties, Jennifer Aniston's heroine Olivia quits teaching for a maid work and to think her life over. She feels she's reached a turning point in her life. She wants to feel the support of her married friends – Christine, Jane and Franny. Their material and matrimonial basis seems to be so solid and stable, but some of them find collaborating with own husband boring, another one became unconcerned to one another with her man as lovers and friends, and the other couple got emotionally exhausted as well. And nothing more? This comedy drama was created by Nicole Holofcener (director, writer), who previously made the welcomed independent films Walking and Talking and Lovely & Amazing.
